CELLER 9+

Celler 9+ is found in La Nou de Gaia, a small town in the Tarragona province of Catalunya, two miles from the Mediterranean Sea. Winemaker Moisès Virgili began to convert his family’s vineyards to certified organic in 2010. Moisès now works with 70 acres of organic vineyards, and implements a minimal intervention philosophy in the cellar. The limestone rich soils of the vineyards are generally sandy loam on top of which the grapes ripen to perfection under the warm spanish sun and the gentle cooling breeze of the Mediterranean Sea
